Jude Bellingham scored the first goal of José Mourinho's second stint at Real Madrid as Los Blancos beat Espanyol 2-1 to open their LaLiga season.

Bellingham's early header was cancelled out by Alex Calatrava's sweeping strike on the half-hour mark, and the hosts should have gone ahead on the stroke of halftime when Roberto Fernández missed a golden headed opportunity.
But Mourinho sent on a host of substitutes in the second half, and it was Carlos Espí who proved the hero, picking up the ball after a driving run from Kylian Mbappé and rounding the goalkeeper to score the winner.
