Manchester City have agreed a deal with Palmeiras for winger Allan Elias, sources have told ESPN.

The 22-year-old will move to Etihad Stadium for an initial €37.5 million (£32m) with another €2.5m in potential add-ons.

Allan is set to replace Savinho in Enzo Maresca's squad with the Brazil international close to sealing his switch to Tottenham. Omar Marmoush could also follow Savinho to Spurs.

City are aiming to wrap up deals for both Allan and midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi this week. Morocco international Bouaddi has arrived in Manchester to undergo a medical after a €100m deal was agreed with Lille on Sunday.

There could be more new arrivals before the transfer deadline. As well as Savinho and Marmoush leaving the Etihad, Spanish midfielder Nico González is nearing a move to Newcastle United.

Savinho was left out of the City squad which beat Bournemouth 2-1 on Sunday while Marmoush and Gonzalez were unused substitutes. Gonzalez was not used despite Maresca deciding to play centre-back Marc Guéhi in midfield.
