Crystal Palace 1-4 Manchester City: Haaland and Cherki fire Maresca's side to dominant win - as it happened

Manchester City thrashed Crystal Palace 4-1 at Selhurst Park with Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland grabbing a brace each.

Haaland opened the scoring for City in the first half with a well taken header from an Antoine Semenyo cross. Palace played with zip and had a couple of close chances, but never properly tested Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal.

Cherki doubled City's lead with a stunning, individual goal before an unfortunate Donnarumma own-goal a couple of minutes later gave Palace hopes of coming back. But, Cherki hit back three minutes later to ensure the result wasn't in doubt.

Haaland grabbed his second late on to add gloss to a dominant showing.
