Mr. Irrelevant to be a Cardinal through compensatory pick

PHOENIX -- The NFL awarded the Arizona Cardinals one compensatory draft pick at the league's annual meeting Monday.

But, besides the No. 1 overall pick, it may be the most famous pick in the draft. The Cardinals will have the last pick in the draft -- Mr. Irrelevant -- in the seventh round.

The Cardinals lost unrestricted free agents Antoine Cason, Karlos Dansby, Jim Dray and Andre Roberts in 2014 but gained unrestricted free agents Ted Ginn, Ted Larsen and Jared Veldheer.

This will be Arizona’s 17th compensatory pick since 1994.
