Bears sign seven draft picks, including Cody Whitehair

The Chicago Bears signed seven of their nine 2016 draft picks, the team announced on Monday.

With rookie minicamp scheduled to begin Friday, the Bears finalized deals with second-round pick offensive lineman Cody Whitehair, fourth-round linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski, fourth-round safety Deon Bush, fourth-round cornerback Deiondre' Hall, fifth-round running back Jordan Howard, sixth-round safety DeAndre Houston-Carson and seventh-round wide receiver Daniel Braverman.

Top choice (No. 9 overall) linebacker Leonard Floyd and third-round selection defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard remain unsigned.

The Bears also signed two additional undrafted free agents: Liberty wide receiver Darrin Peterson and Oklahoma State cornerback Kevin Peterson.

Chicago’s roster is currently at 90 players.
