Lions DT Tyrunn Walker posts Twitter video of rehab progress

Tyrunn Walker is supposed to become a free agent in about two months. He hasn't played football for the Detroit Lions in more than three months.

Walker broke his left leg and dislocated his ankle during Detroit's 13-10 loss to Seattle on "Monday Night Football" in Week 4. He had to e carted off the field. He had surgery within 24 hours of the injury and knew there would be a long rehabilitation process. He spent the majority of his season not at the Lions facility, but back home in Louisiana and would make cameo appearances up in Michigan.

On Tuesday night, he posted what could be taken as a good sign for his recovery -- a video of himself riding a stationary bike with the words "Leg feeling good!!!"

The Lions put Walker on injured reserve soon after the injury. It stopped what had been a strong start to the season for Walker, who had earned a starting defensive tackle spot next to Haloti Ngata after signing a one-year deal with the Lions from New Orleans during free agency last year.

The 25-year-old Walker had nine tackles in four games.
