Jake Ryan, Brett Hundley contract details

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- By the time they hit the field on Friday morning for their first NFL practice, most -- if not all -- of the Green Bay Packers' recent draft picks will have signed their rookie contracts.

That process began on Thursday.

And we have the financial numbers for the first two deals that were completed. Here are the details of those two contracts:

LB Jake Ryan, fourth-round pick

  • Length: Four years

  • Total value: $2,736,676

  • Signing bonus: $456,676

  • Base salaries: $435,000 (2015), $525,000 (2016), $615,000 (2017), $705,000 (2018)

QB Brett Hundley, fifth-round pick

  • Length: Four years

  • Total value: $2,503,632

  • Signing bonus: $223,632

  • Base salaries: $435,000 (2015), $525,000 (2016), $615,000 (2017), $705,000 (2018)

The Packers used 20.3 percent of their rookie salary pool for 2015 on those two deals. Their total rookie pool for this season is $5,123,244.

The agent for sixth-round pick Christian Ringo said late Thursday that his client has signed his contract, but the financial details were not yet available. Media reports from the Green Bay Press-Gazette and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel indicated the Packers also have signed their other two sixth-round picks, Aaron Ripkowski and Kennard Backman. That would leave only the first-round pick Damarious Randall, second-rounder Quinten Rollins and third-rounder Ty Montgomery unsigned.

Even without completed contracts, all draft picks can -- and are expected to -- take part in this weekend's rookie camp.
