Colts sign Josh McNary to practice squad days after being acquitted of rape

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts have signed linebacker Josh McNary to their practice squad just three days after he was acquitted of rape.

McNary spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the Colts before he placed on the NFL’s commissioner exempt list once the news broke that he was being charged with rape just days before the AFC championship game last January.

Now the Colts are giving McNary a chance to revive his NFL career. He has 26 tackles and a half sack in his two seasons with the team.

Here’s the rest of the Colts practice squad:

-- G David Arkin

-- WR Quan Bray

-- WR Duron Carter

-- T Ulrick John

-- S Dewey McDonald

-- CB Eric Patterson

-- DT Jeris Pendleton
