Patriots sign three players to practice squad

The New England Patriots have announced the signings of linebacker Deontae Skinner and defensive backs Justin Green and Daxton Swanson to the team's 10-man practice squad.

All three players have spent time on the Patriots' practice squad this season and were also members of the team during training camp.

Skinner, a rookie free agent out of Mississippi State, has bounced around between the Patriots' practice squad and active roster. He has played in seven games for the Patriots this season, recording 10 total tackles and three special-teams tackles.

Green, who was sent to the Dallas Cowboys in a trade on Aug. 15 before his release on Sept. 1, played in two games for the Patriots in 2013.

Swanson, a 5-foot-11 and 191-pound defensive back, has been a member of the Patriots' practice squad for multiple stints this season.
