FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- In Rex Ryan speak, Dee Milliner's status was upgraded from "cautiously optimistic" to "pretty confident." Still, Ryan said, Milliner will not start.
"If he plays, he'll help us," Ryan said Thursday. "But I would think that we would end up starting Antonio Allen and [Darrin] Walls. That's my initial thought."
Milliner was limited again in practice due to the high-ankle sprain he suffered Aug. 10. But the Jets coach was encouraged with his 22-year-old cornerback's progress.
"I was concerned with how he'd come back [after practicing Wednesday]," Ryan said. "But today, he moved around pretty good."
Tight end Jeff Cumberland was a full participant Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice due to personal reasons. Linebacker IK Enemkpali (foot), who did not practice Wednesday, practiced fully Thursday. Defensive back Josh Bush (quad), who did not practice Wednesday, was limited Thursday. Offensive lineman Willie Colon (calf) has been limited Wednesday and Thursday.
For the Packers, running back Eddie Lacy (concussion) returned to practice Thursday.
