Jimmy Graham ready, Kam Chancellor doubtful for Seahawks

RENTON, Wash. -- Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham practiced fully Friday and is ready to go for Sunday's match-up against the Arizona Cardinals, coach Pete Carroll said.

"We had to get him back from last week, and we kind of gauged it throughout the week," Carroll said. "We think it worked out terrific, and he had a great day today so he’s ready to go."

Graham was listed on the injury report Thursday with a knee and hip injury and did not participate in practice. But Carroll said the tight end was just dealing with general soreness from last week's game.

Strong safety Kam Chancellor (groin), meanwhile, is not expected to play Sunday. He is listed as doubtful on the injury report and did not participate in practice all week. Kelcie McCray will make his second consecutive start in Chancellor's place.

Starting SAM linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis is out with an ankle injury. Cassius Marsh or Jordan Tripp will likely replace him in the Seahawks' base defense. Defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson (knee) has already been ruled out.

And finally, running back C.J. Prosise could see his first action since Week 1. He previously had a cast on his broken hand but will now be playing with some kind of brace. Carroll did not commit to Prosise being active.

"C.J. had a really good week," Carroll said. "He’s ready to play football, so we’ll see what we do with that. But it’s really exciting. At least he’s part of the decision-making if he can dress on game day. We’ll see what happens."
