PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Eagles turned to the Buffalo Bills to replace Kiko Alonso, the former Bills linebacker they traded to Miami Wednesday. They added another former Bill, their third in two days, as well.

Nigel Bradham, 26, agreed to a two-year contract with the Eagles, according to Fox Sports. The 6-foot-2, 240-pound Bradham was Buffalo's fourth-round pick in the 2012 NFL draft.

The Eagles later signed cornerback Ron Brooks, 27, their fourth-round pick in 2012.

Bradham started 13 games in his first two seasons in the NFL. He became a full-time starter in 2014, when Jim Schwartz was Buffalo's defensive coordinator. In Schwartz's scheme, Bradham had career highs in sacks (2.5), interceptions (one) and forced fumbles (two).

Schwartz is now defensive coordinator of the Eagles. The team traded Alonso Wednesday, a year after acquiring him in the trade that sent running back LeSean McCoy to Buffalo.

Along with the release of veteran linebacker DeMeco Ryans, the Alonso trade left the Eagles with a need at linebacker. Bradham could step in to one of the outside linebacker spots. Mychal Kendricks, who was taken by the Eagles in the second round of the 2012 draft, is expected to start on the other side.

Second-year player Jordan Hicks could play middle linebacker. Najee Goode, who was signed to a new contract last month, gives the Eagles a versatile backup.

Brooks has started only three games in his four seasons with Buffalo. He started once in 2014, when Schwartz was his coach.
