Let’s take a look at which San Francisco 49ers finished the season injured and how they may fit with the 2014 team:
DT Tank Carradine: The second-round pick is expected to be given a chance to make an impact next season.
WR Brandon Carswell: There will be some bottom-of-the-roster receiver spots. A good camp would give him a chance.
CB Chris Culliver: He will be a big part of the team in 2014. A solid nickel cornerback.
FB Alex Debniak: If Anthony Dixon leaves in free agency, perhaps there will be spot for him.
LB Darius Fleming: He’d need a great camp. Linebacker spot is packed in San Francisco.
RB Marcus Lattimore: The 49ers are excited about this top prospect. He will have a chance to play right away.
WR Mario Manningham: There is little chance this free agent will return.
OT Luke Marquardt: He is an intriguing prospect. He is huge and he could be a practice squad possibility.
FB Bruce Miller: The 49ers really missed him when he broke his scapula in December. His job awaits.
DL Lawrence Okoye: This former Olympian is a project, but the 49ers will give this supreme athlete a chance to develop.
DT Ian Williams: He has become a very good player, and will become part of the rotation in 2014.
