The Seattle Seahawks have nine selections in the 2016 NFL draft, which will be held April 28-30 in Chicago. Here’s a breakdown of the Seahawks' selections:

First round: 26th overall selection

Second round: 56th overall selection

Third round: 97th overall selection

Fourth round: 124th overall selection

Three of the Seahawks' selections (Nos. 97, 171 and 215) are compensatory picks. One of the seventh rounders (No. 225) was acquired from the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for RB Christine Michael. Michael did not last long in Dallas and re-signed with the Seahawks earlier this offseason.

The team gave up a pair of picks in trades. It dealt a fifth-round pick (No. 162 overall) to the Kansas City Chiefs for safety Kelcie McCray last summer. The Seahawks also gave up a sixth-round pick (No. 202 overall) to acquire cornerback Mohammed Seisay from the Detroit Lions.
