NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Jake Locker failed as an NFL quarterback and decided to retire as his rookie contract with the Tennessee Titans expired.

While he is not a fiery guy, he showed a lot of toughness, he worked hard and he made friends.

Many teammates tweeted their reaction to Locker’s surprise announcement on Tuesday.
