Clemson DT Vic Burley suspended indefinitely following arrest

Clemson defensive tackle Vic Burley was suspended indefinitely after he was arrested Saturday morning, coach Dabo Swinney announced in a statement.

Swinney said Burley was arrested by the Clemson University Police Department early Saturday morning and charged with disorderly conduct. "We are extremely disappointed by his actions and decisions," Swinney said in the statement.

Burley, who is heading into his senior year, had 15 tackles on 175 defensive snaps last season and was expected to be a bigger contributor in 2026.

Clemson opens the season at LSU on Sept. 5.
