The second and last Test of this series starts on Sunday at Port of Spain. In the meantime, Pakistan need to go back to the drawing board. They can look to hand a debut to Ubaid Shah, who can hit 140KPH, to spice up their pace attack. They may also be inclined to bolster their batting by adding Abdullah Shafique or Saud Shakeel in place of Aamer Jamal or Ali Usman - conditions permitting - who bowled only 13 overs in the match, all in the first innings. There may also be pressure on them to give wicketkeeper Ghazi Ghori a go.

West Indies captain Roston Chase It is a great feeling to win this Test and we want to dedicate it to the late great Sir Garfield Sobers. We wanted to make him proud and had a chat about it before the match. I hope he is smiling down on us. I also want to thank the Trinidad crowd for coming out and supporting us. It was not a big crowd but it gave us enough energy and support to go out there and perform. [What satisfies him the most about this win?] The effort that the bowlers put in yesterday. They did not get a wicket in the first hour but the patience and the disciplined they showed in the second hour was really magnificent to see. That hour set up the win for us. I love how this team is going. It is not dependent on one or two guys but everyone is chipping in. We were hoping to add at least 50 runs more to the total when we started the day today and Shamar and the bowlers applied themselves with the bat which gave us the confidence.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam: The result is not in our hands. We played good cricket in the last few days but today we were not up to the mark as a batting unit. We lost back to back wickets. We are working on it and will look to make sure it doesn't happen in the next matches. [On the conditions] The surface is good and we expected the new ball to move for which we were prepared. But I think they bowled very well and used the conditions nicely. There was uneven bounce in the pitch but we should have looked to build partnerships. [On whether Pakistan missed a fully fit Shan Masood] Unfortunately, he has an hairline fracture and him not being able to bat at three did have an impact. But, the basics stay the same, you have to survive the new ball and look to score when it gets a bit old.

Justin Greaves is the player of the match: [This performance] is right up there. Whatever it takes to get the team over the line, I always put my best foot forward. We won the first-ever Test at this stadium so it is really good for us. [On his five-for] It was just about being disciplined. We spoke in the dressing room about starting the innings better. We came in and tried to be just as disciplined as possible. I mimicked M Abbas' fuller lengths when he bowled against us in the first and second innings and it pretty much worked out for us.

Samuel Badree tells us that it is the first time in the Caribbean that all 40 wickets have been taken by fast bowlers. It has happened five times before today.

The two collapses were sparked by excellent spells from Justin Greaves and Jayden Seales who made it to the Brian Lara Cricket Academy's honours board with five-fors in the first and second innings. Shan Masood, who scored a gritty 109 in the first innings, and Abbas, with 5-22 in the second innings, have also etched their names in the history of this ground, which was hosting the first-ever Test match.

M Abbas' 23 is the joint fourth-highest score by a Pakistani in this Test. This very stat is enough to help you understand where Pakistan went wrong. It is now three years since Pakistan last won away from home. They have now lost eight consecutive matches away from home on the bounce on four continents. Pakistan made tweaks to their pace attack in their bid to take 20 wickets. And though none of the four pacers they played bowled express pace, they did the job. It is their below-par batting which has let them down. They lost 5 wickets for 15 runs in the first innings and only three batters - the third being Rizwan, with 11, behind unbeaten Babar and Abbas - made it into double digits today when they had to chase 211 on a difficult pitch.

3:30pm I did not expect it to go this long, but here we are. West Indies are all but certain to win this Test, but Babar Azam and M Abbas have put up a stiff resistance to delay it until the evening session. It has been a fine knock from the Pakistan captain and Abbas has added to the home team's frustration with bold slogs. For how long can this pair hang around. Let's find out.

3:12pm, Day 4, Tea: Um... *pause* it's been... um *pause* a session. Don't know what to make of it. West Indies ran through the batting and should've won by now. Pakistan's middle order, long tail included, was slashed off by the pitch and WI's bowlers holding their lines and lengths. Shan Masood came out to bat despite having a broken finger. He fell. Greaves, Seales, Roach and Shamar were all brilliant. Abaas looked like he'd get out early. Babar, who saw his partners leaving him in a procession, gave him the strike at a time when strike-farming was expected, and somehow it's all worked out so far. Abbas has been chancy, he's also grown in confidence and has helped take the deficit under a hundred in a session extended by 30 minutes because Pakistan were nine down.
