85.6 Abbas finds the outside edge. Rizwan does the rest. He isn't standing up to the stumps in this over. Tighter line and length from Abbas. Good length, angling in towards off, and leaves Chase late. Abbas hits the outside edge near the shoulder of the bat, thanks to the late away movement and some extra bounce to boot. 92.5 Banged short on off and Babar takes the catch! Pushed Roach on the backfoot with a rising ball. He looked to prod at it but ended up edging it to the slip. Second wicket for Shahzad. 274/7

96.2 Joseph has been bounced out second ball after lunch! Lifter from over the wicket, gets big on Joseph and cramps the batter for room. Joseph goes for the pull but it comes out as a weak flap which pops up into the hands of Agha at wide slip off the glove 304/8

98.5 Ali storms through the defences of Seales and wraps up WI's innings. Ali comes away with a four-for. Nice and full, nips back in against the angle from over the wicket and strikes the top of off after bursting through the bat-pad gap. Ali leaps for joy. Babar is pleased as punch 311/10

2.2 This is a Roach special! Test wicket No. 301 for Roach. Bursts through the defences of Awais and makes it look ridiculously easy. After getting the previous ball to move away from Awais, Roach brings this one back into the left-handed opener and finds a way through the gate. Roach pings the top of middle. Pakistan find themselves at 1 for 1 1/1

33.3 Edged and brilliantly taken by Greaves at wide first slip! Drew him into a drive with the length ball outside off and Imam went for it. It was a thick edge and was flying to the left of Greaves but he reverse cups it. Wobble seam, seamed away after hitting the deck. 156/2

63.6 make that two in two! West Indies are on a rampage or what. Masood goes driving, but this isn't all that full, he plays down the wrong line to get an inside edge back onto the stumps. Full credit to Greaves for the length. Not too full, not length, that in-between stuff. The seam position too was impeccable and the set Masood is gone. 244/5

45.6 Edge and taken by Hope! Curves it enough to take the leading edge of Babar's bat who is pinned on the back foot with the short of the length delivery. There is relief on his face. Peach of a delivery 197/3

69.4 gets a big edge and the keeper obliges, make that four in four overs! Rizwan goes wafting at a delivery with enough width but fails to account for the zip off the pitch. Poor stroke one must say. Pakistan in real trouble and in danger of conceding the advantage in 30 minutes of madness. 259/8

65.2 right through his defence as Jamal plays all around this, the middle stump is sent flying! Greaves goes full, attacking the stumps in search of late swing, Jamal's feet glued to the crease as he plays all around the full delivery with the ball sneaking through the gap to crash into the stumps. 248/6

67.3 massive appeal for lbw and given! Greaves didn't even bother looking back to ask the umpire. This is touch fuller, just outside off, the ball hits the seam and decks back in a hit to beat the inside edge and hit in on the front pad. Given out on the field, but Rizwan asks his partner to go for the review in the hope that the impact may have been outside off. But that is very optimistic. Ball tracking confirms the ball would've smashed middle. 256/7

80.1 It pays dividends right away. Shahzad looks to launch it down the ground but ends up edging it to Hope who takes a brilliant catch reaching wide to his right. Pitched on length on off. 282/10

4.1 is there a tickle? Yes, Rizwan takes a good low catch too and Pakistan have struck early. The only real doubt for the umpire was if it carried, which it has. King has to go. Abbas gets him for the second time in the match. Excellent from Abbas to draw King forward with the length on that occasion. 7/1

4.4 that is a trademark Abbas wicket! Pakistan are buoyant once again. Abbas bowls a pearler outside off, forces Hodge to play at that and he ends up getting a faint edge that Rizwan accepts gleefully. This Test is rattling along very quickly. 7/2

13.1 that is an outstanding catch back on his followthrough! Jangoo check-pushed this as the ball appeared to stop on him, the bowler had to lunge forward and Ali ensures his hands are properly underneath the ball as he plucks it out inches from the ground. 28/3

16.2 And Shahzad has his revenge and he gives Hope a send off. It nips a fraction into him after pitching on length on off and smacks into his middle stump. Poor choice of shot from Hope as he looked to launch it somewhere over long on but was beaten comprehensively. 43/4

32.5 he has prised out the big wicket! And it's a super catch at extra cover by the skipper. He bowls from wide of the crease, angles it full and has Greaves driving on the up. This was struck well, but superbly intercepted by Babar diving to his left. 85/6

38.2 that is a wicket really well deserved! They kept probing away outside off, and have been finally rewarded with a nick. Chase goes driving but this one leaves him just about enough to take the edge as Rizwan takes the catch. 93/7

52.1 Babar takes a sharp catch at extra cover! It was pitched on a length outside off and Roach drove it straight into the Pakistan captain's chest without any footwork. Babar reverse cupped it with perfection. Muted celebrations. 169/9

47.3 So in the end 114KPH cutter does the job. He looks to smash this one over midwicket but the ball sneaks under his bat and dislodges the middle stump. Ali takes a sigh of relief. Pakistan take a sigh of relief. 154/8

54.5 Five-for for Mohammad Abbas and he lets out passionate roar. Performs a Sajda to mark his seventh five-wicket haul in Test cricket. Length ball angling at the top of his off stump and it goes through his defences. Warrican had been walking at Abbas to negate the lateral movement of the pitch, but with Rizwan now standing up he could not do it anymore. 181/10

5.1 That's a loose ball but gets the wicket anyway! Awais' fault was that he wanted to hit too straight and went a bit away from the body. Was a half-volley well outside off, Awais didn't get across, got low and tried to drive through mid-off. Ball shaved the outside edge and went to the keeper. WI stoked 21/2

2.2 That's a brute! Straightens a touch and spits up off a shortish length, maybe Imam could've left that but he saw the length as an opportunity to cut. He took a step across and got too close, the extra bounce meant he got hit on the glove with the bat well away from the line. Easy catch for Hope. 5/1

7.1 Big appeal for lbw and the finger goes up! Pakistan review. Impact might be the issue. First replay in, impact looks okay, on off. Close to the edge. Salman took a small stride towards off to try and defend it off a length to the off side of the pitch. Ball is close to bat as it hits the knee-roll. Third umpire sees no conclusive evidence to call that bat first. You can hear the WI fielders go "yeees' as that'd go onto crash into middle. 25/3

15.1 Dislodges Rizwan's off stump with a snorter! It was angling in from wide of the crease but straightened after hitting the length on off and Rizwan played all around it. It goes to smash into the top of off. He continues from where he left off. 46/4

17.5 Lands on length, shapes away as Jamal turns the bat face. Hits him on the front pad and looks plumb. However, after a brief consultation with Babar he reviews. Shows it's hitting him on off stump and it's slamming into the top of middle and off 50/5

20.5 It was long time coming. Usman had been hanging his bat on everything outside off. Looked to drive this full ball outside off and edged it to the second slip. It is all crashing down for the tourists at the moment. 53/6

25.5 Okay, now this might be over this session. Masood falls in such a soft manner that it's sad. He came in despite the injury, saw a wide half-volley after having to deal with a few good balls at the stumps. He reached out and tried to drive it square, could not generate any power with a bunged finger, and the ball floats off the edge to backward point. Judging by the replay, he may have been too slow to commit to the shot. Seales won't mind 64/7

27.4 This has been the Test for flying stumps! Middle stump takes the mic along with it as Shahzad didn't get near it. 138ks fullish length ball landed around middle and straightened. Shahzad got stuck, almost for physical protection, and pushed the bat facing cover. Went well away from the body but not close to ball. Seales all stoic in celebrations till meeting Shamar, when the smile breaks out 70/8

28.2 Surprise surprise. WI rip out another tailender after Babar takes a first-ball single. Ali defended the previous over's last ball well, this time, he played like a tailender. Reached away at a wide length ball. Wanted to push it to cover, wanted to get bat on ball more likely. Thick edge goes to second slip, nice low catch. Just one away now WI 71/9

40.2 It rolls into the off side after thudding into his front pad. Seales turns around to appeal and the umpire raises his finger. It nipped in after hitting on length and Abbas looked to work it into the onside but missed it completely. He sent it upstairs but to his disappointment the ball was brushing the outer part of the leg stump. The inevitable could not be delayed any further. West Indies win the first Test by 90 runs.
