11.3 nip-backer, trapped on the crease - given! Duckett doesn't look totally convinced by Rod Tucker's decision, but he is walking off! Lengthy chat with Bethell but no review. The ball went a long way down the slope, and it looked pretty plumb on the replay. Struck just above the knee on the back leg, but Duckett isn't a tall man so I think height probably okay 31/2
5.3 edged to first slip! And Gay has to go for 8, albeit playing a defensive shot. Length ball angles into Gay from around the wicket. He tries to fend off the back foot but the ball nips away slightly, takes the outside edge and goes to Mitchell at a comfortable height. This is Jamieson's first Test wicket since Feb 2024 16/1
12.4 pitched up, booming drive, ball thuds into pad! NZ go up initially for lbw, I think, but sounded like inside edge... they've reviewed, having a bob both ways as the ball went to hand in the cordon. But Bethell clearly didn't hit this on replay, the sound was the ball rapping both pads. How adjacent was he? VERY!! Three reds on DRS and Bethell's gone! Adrian Holdstock has to overturn his call. NZ have come roaring out after the extended break, O'Rourke getting in on the act now 33/3
14.4 feathered behind, huge wicket! Finger goes up immediately and NZ are a gaggle of glee! Beautiful bowling from O'Rourke, kicks up from back of a length, just straightening up the slope to kiss the edge as Root looked to open the face. After a quiet start, England's latest reboot is quickly going south 34/4
31.5 swung straight to fine leg, Brook guns himself down! Short and heading leg side, heaved away... but straight to the lurking Jamieson, an easy catch even though the ball was travelling! Smith bags and tags another. England's counterattack looks to be almost over 113/8
19.3 far too straight to shoulder arms! Jamieson lands a ball between good length and full around off. Smith trusts the bounce, perhaps, and shoulders arms, but this has been a spongy Lord's surface at times. Ball comes in after landing on the seam, and pegs off stump back! 55/5
26.5 edged and taken by Williamson via a one-hander! He silences the Lord's with a magnificent low catch from second slip, diving in front of first slip to take it very low. Stokes is waiting, the umpires go upstairs. This was a good length ball angling in from around the wicket. Stokes tried to block it with soft-ish hands to control the bounce, but even then Williamson pockets this with his right hand once the edge was induced. The captain is on his way back. England 94/6 courtesy some brilliant catching. 94/6
30.6 full, seaming in late, trapped on the back leg - gone! This looks salmon and trout, although Atkinson has reviewed. Yep, nowhere near the bat and it would have smashed into middle. Not sure what Atkinson was hoping for there, other than a bank error in his favour. England lose their seventh, and Jamieson has four on his Test return 108/7
33.3 stays low, Blundell grabs, and appeals for a caught behind. Given not out. They opt to review. This was a length ball just outside off but with uneven bounce. Robinson slashed at it away from his body, and technology shows us that the ball kissed the bottom of the bat. Blundell has taken the low catch cleanly of course, and the wicketkeeper was spot on. He convinced Latham and the bowler to review. Jamieson's sixth five-wicket haul in Tests! 118/9

39.4 Williamson takes a catch at third slip and England are all out at 140! Length ball outside off, delivered from wide of the crease. Bashir thinks about poking at it, and all he does is induce the edge. 140/10

6.4 length ball, delivered from around the wicket, and angling in with the arm release. Latham defends but down the wrong line and it hits him on the knee roll in front of middle. Is that angling down leg? No, it's crashing into the stumps! Latham burns a review and has to walk back with NZ at 12/4. 12/4
1.3 Robinson strikes! Fullish ball on off and Conway plays all around the delivery after coming down the ground. He flicks absolutely down the wrong line. Hits him right in front and the umpire Rod Tucker raises his finger. Conway reviews, hoping the ball has jagged in too much to beat leg stump. Wishful thinking. Clipping leg stump and Conway must walk back for 1. The slope of the ground exaggerated the movement and it was too good for Conway 2/1
1.5 Robinson is celebrating even before the catch is taken! And that's because he has got Williamson out for a duck! He's bowled a fullish ball around off that Williamson tried to defend, but he played it with soft hands, and the bat's face turned. That sends the ball onto his pads before lobbing up for short leg, and the grab is an easy one! 2/2
1.6 WoWW over from Robinson! Ravindra is caught in his creas and umpire Tucker raises his finger for the third time in the over! Length ball lands outside off, but comes in with the slope. Ravindra misses the defensive shot, he's hit on the back leg, and the review can't save him either. That's clipping the top of the stumps and Robinson has had a dream comeback over! 2/3
9.6 only two types of leave... off stump goes walkabout! Robinson has four!! Suffocating lines and Mitchell makes the fatal misjudgement. Bail-trimmer from Robinson, decks back up the slope from a fourth-stump line, and the roar goes up around Lord's again! 20/5
12.6 torpedoes off stump! Tongue gets his 50th Test wicket with a ripper of a ball, 90mph and smashing the poles two-thirds of the way up. You might say Blundell has just missed a straight one, but he was lining them up pretty well until then. That's what pace can do. NZ lose their sixth of a horror evening session 29/6
20.1 good night, Vienna! Never mind rabbit pie, Tongue has gobbled up prime steak with his first ball of the day! Perfect line and length to hit the top of off stump, and Phillips isn't equal to it. Maybe needed a sighter against the extra pace of Tongue, but he didn't get one. Timber out of the ground, England up and running straight away 65/7

22.6 Smith leaves, Tongue hits the bullseye again! Third time he has smashed off stump in this innings, and NZ lose their eighth. Smith throws his head back aghast, but this was a beauty from Tongue, jagging down the slope to rattle the woodwork 82/8

28.2 pitched up, edged to slip - easy as that! Stokes bluffs O'Rourke with the men in close and Atkinson feeds the drive ball. O'Rourke's eyes light up after 16 balls of stoic defence, only for them to close in disgust as a thick outside edge flies straight into second slip's bread basket! 108/9
29.5 only takes one... five for Robinson, middle stump flattened! Length bowling finishes the job, whodathunkit? Bang on the money, Henry shuffling slightly to leg, and Robinson hits middle right between the eyes. He walks off with the ball held aloft to a round of applause. Who writes your scripts? as one GA Gooch might say. That is Robinson's fourth five-wicket haul in Tests, and first since 2022 113/10

12.4 O'Rourke follows the short ball with a very full ball wide of off. Duckett isn't pressing forward to this. He camps back for the short ball, but O'Rourke has smartly changed his length. Duckett flashes at it and that's catching practice for Phillips at gully 52/1
31.6 Smith cuts Gay's knock short on 57. Tickles an edge behind to the keeper. Fuller than a good length from Smith, angling in from round the stumps, then leaves Gay late. Gay nicks off to Blundell. The Lord's crowd and his team-mates appreciate his effort on debut 126/3
25.6 castled by one that stays down! Henry gets his first of the match, and that is a shared triumph for him and Blundell. Barely bounced above shin height, which is ultimately what did for Bethell - but he was so much more comfortable starting out of his crease to cut down the angles. Shoots through to hit off stump a third of the way up. NZ break the second-wicket stand, just when things were beginning to look desperate 99/2
33.1 WOR and Smith go bang bang! This looks adjacent and yes the finger goes up. Root opts for a review. Good length and skids back in to beat the inside edge and thump the front pad. Smith is sure that he has his man with the wobble-seam inducker. No bat involved, according to UltraEdge. The tracker returns umpire's call on leg stump. That'll do for NZ 127/5
32.6 much fuller and swerves back in so sharply to ping the pad. Was it doing too much? Brook thinks so and reviews the on-field out decision rather straightaway. He falls over and cops this on his front pad just above the knee-roll. Ball-tracking suggests that this would've clattered into leg stump. Three reds and Brook has to go for a duck 127/4
49.6 shoots through low and Smith gets Smith! Not quite a gazunder, but it didn't help Smith, J get his bat down in time. Middle and off stumps rattled. Fourth of the innings for Smith, N. NZ closing in on a chase of around 250 213/8
33.4 Stokes' wicket adds to England's collapse. Top ball from Smith! Stokes shakes his head in utter disbelief. Full, angling in towards off, straightens away subtly to beat the outside edge and hit the top of off stump. Are NZ onto something at Lord's? 127/6
46.2 short, swiped... and it lobs back to the bowler! Wasn't really there for the pull, as Atkinson looked to smoke it back down the ground. Basically went straight up and by then he was already walking off. Jamieson barely had to move in his follow through, England seven down after a handy stand 184/7
55.6 slogged straight up, Phillips pouches it safely! Robinson's patience runs out and he goes for the big hoy to cow corner. Doesn't even get the ball off the square, as Phillips comes in underneath it from midwicket. Six for Smith, and he holds the ball high as he walks off towards the pavilion 226/10

0.3 Latham has to depart now. Loose shot from the NZ captain. Full and wide, very wide of off, finishes wider than a set of stumps outside off. Latham throws his bat at a drive away from the body and nicks it behind. Brook snags a sharp catch at second slip. Latham gone for a duck 0/1
33.6 leading edge, snaffled at gully! Conway's gutsy knock is over. Although he waits around while the TV umpire checks the catch... He's scrapped and fought for every inch, but the NZ opener is eventually chiselled out by Stokes. Just holds enough up the slope as Conway tries to flick leg side, and Bethell scoops an excellent low catch to break the stand 111/7
10.4 this is very adjacent and England pull ahead. Williamson isn't sure. He knows he's in trouble. He chats with Conway and signals for a review, more out of hope than conviction. Pretty full, angling and curving away. Tongue catches Williamson in the crease, turns him around and beats the outside edge. What a ball! Ball-tracker suggests it would have crashed into middle and off. Williamson falls for 18 in what might be his last Test innings at Lord's."Williamson halfway back by the time ball-tracking had loaded on the big screen," Matt Roller notes from Lord's 29/2
11.5 Atkinson takes out the nightwatcher at the stroke of stumps! Nails the top of off. Bail-trimmer! On a length, angling in from over the wicket and jags away late to beat the outside edge and hit the top of off. That would've even got a proper top-order batter. That is stumps on day two 36/3
17.6 knocks him over with a corker, and Ravindra is outta here! This is a proper peach. Back of a length, angling into off. On pitching, though, it nips away and that causes the batter all sorts of problems. Ravindra has to play at it and gets squared up because of the movement. The ball breezes past his outside edge before pinging the top of off. England on the board on day three! 53/4
19.3 pinned on the front pad, and Mitchell has to depart too! But hang on, Mitchell wants to have another look! Zinged in full on middle and leg. Not a lot happening on this occasion but Mitchell falls over to the off side. Plays all around his flick as well and gets thumped right in front. Was it doing too much? Well, not quite. Clipping the outside of leg stump. Umpire's Call and Mitchell has to go too. NZ in all sorts now! 53/5
22.4 pinned in front of all three! Well, middle and leg, at least. And Blundell won't review. Tongue breaks through with his fourth ball today, having done so first delivery on day two. Another one shoots through low from a length and gives Blundell no chance as he hangs in the crease 58/6

34.4 nicked and gone this time! NZ eight down, and England running rampant now! On a length outside off, with a hint of nibble away. Smith goes feeling for it without much footwork and feathers it through to the keeper. Wobble-seam delivery does the trick for Atkinson, and NZ staring down the barrel now! 116/8
36.5 flicked straight to mid wicket, and Jamieson is done for the day too! A very soft dismissal, given how much help there has been on offer for the bowlers. This is a long half-volley on the pads. Jamieson's eyes light up but he cannot keep his flick down. Picks out Duckett, who snaps sharply to his right and completes the catch in front of his face. Jamieson is livid with himself, but England keep inching closer to a series-opening win! 124/9
40.3 middle stump flattened, and England romp past New Zealand to take a series lead! Five for Atkinson, and it is fitting that he lands the final blow! Back of a length on off, and this seems to jag back in a shade. Henry, caught on the crease, goes searching for it in front of his body and is beaten on the inside. The ball sneaks past the inside edge and then crashes into middle stump. NZ bowled out for 138 in the fourth innings while chasing 254, and England have been full value for their victory! 138/10
