- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR0.6 Jangoo at short leg grabs that! Sheer delight among the home team players as Nissanka falls flicking. Length ball outside off and coming into Nissanka. Just a shade of extra bounce while Nissanks preps to play the shot, and all he has done is played it into the hands of the catching fielder near him on the leg side 2/19.3 given out! Full on the stumps and Madushka wants to flick but he doesn't get bat on ball. Misses the shot completely, and the ball hits him on the shin. Madushka doesn't even bother taking a review because that's full. Alzarri strikes in his first over 42/225.1 rips a full delivery through Chandimal and crashes it into the woodwork! Shamar has bowled this full length all day, and this was practically a yorker, pitching near the crease as Chandimal plays a big straight drive, and going on to smash off stumo. Chandimal was beginning to look pretty good after battling his way through the first session, but Shamar has found a way through. 110/49.4 two in two! Alzarri comes around the wicket to the left-hander. He bowls a length ball marginally outside off and Kamindu tries to feel bat on ball. The defensive shot gets the outside edge, and it's a low catch at first slip 42/364.4 leading edge! Taken at cover! This is full on his pads, Dhananjaya tries to flick it leg side, but the ball straightens after pitching, gets the bat's edge, and the ball balloons high up in the direction of Brandon King. End of an important, top-quality innings from the visiting captain 273/725.5 Two in an over for Shamar! Mendis drives at a full wide one and sends an outside edge into the lap off second slip. Could have easily let that one go, but was tempted by the juicy length Shamar was offering up. On this kind of surface, the odds are going to be against you early in your innings, however. Sri Lanka in serious trouble now. 110/550.4 given out lbw leaving the ball! Roach floated one out wide last delivery and seamed this one back into the left hander. Dinusha covered the line of the stumps with his pads, but didn't offer a shot to a ball in the channel. He has reviewed the out decision. Ball tracking shows the ball tickling the top of off stump however, and Dinusha has to go. This is why Roach is closing in on 300 wickets (he's four away now). That was a delicious sequence of deliveries to get that wicket. 209/668.1 chopped on! Yorker length, just outside off. Milan tries to squeeze this away to the off side but the ball takes the inside-edge onto the poles 287/870.5 easy catch at mid-on leaves SL nine down. Greaves gets another wicket - a third! Fuller ball on middle, and it's another leading edge as the batter tried to loft a shot over the bowler. Roach at mid-on backpedals slightly at mid-on, and sends Rajitha back for 8 303/971.5 full ball on middle. Makes a bit of room and then tries to go over the bowler's head. Mistimed and Alzarri at mid off turns around and runs behind to take a smart catch. - BATSMENRBM4s6sSR25.2 Campbell goes for the big one, only to hole out at long on! Second over after lunch and WI lose another wicket. Dinusha landed it full outside off, tempting him into a lofted shot, and he obliges by trying to launch a big shot down the ground. Campbell hasn't timed it well and Madushka at long on tracks the ball coming down while wearing his sunnies, and takes a tricky catch rather comfortably 97/213.3 Taken at short cover! There is the lapse of concentration right after the drinks break and King departs! It was a fuller delivery around the fifth stump channel with a hint of outward movement; he goes for the cover drive with hard hands but fails to keep it down, chipping it low to short cover where the fielder makes no mistake. 58/126.6 chopped on! That's a short of good length ball in the corridor of uncertainty. Hodge goes deep in his crease to play a defensive shot with soft hands but the bat is slightly angled when meeting the ball, and it takes the inside edge of the blade. Hodge was cooking something here but he has to go. Milan has a second 102/3150.3 top edged it attempting a similar shot, but this ball is too full for that treatment - only gets up to about thigh-height and Jangoo ends up skying it to the keeper Kusal Mendis, who gobbles it, not having had to move far What a special innings from Amir Jangoo in just his second Test appearance though. He has sent records tumbling and carved out a piece of history for himself. 569/644.6 This time Da Silva throws his wicket away, in a manner quite similar to Brandon King's dismissal this morning! A touch fuller and shaping a wee bit away after pitching well outside off, Da Silva decides to chase it, extending his arms to play an expansive cover drive away from his body. He hits it aerially and picks out the cover fielder. He can't believe it, watching in disbelief before trudging off slowly back to the dugout. Another soft dismissal! 154/450.1 Kusal Mendis just might have grabbed the catch of the year! An absolute beauty. It was a hard length ball in a probing zone that nipped away at the very last moment, leaving Greaves caught in two minds whether to pat it down or leave it alone. Frozen with the bat face outside off and inside the line of the ball, he toe-ended it through to the right of the keeper. Mendis was completely alert behind the stumps, timing his dive perfectly to extend his right hand and pouch it cleanly inside his glove. And that will be the Tea Break, as the umpire clip the bails off. 168/5159.6 Swept around his stumps! Chase falls for 194! Six short of a double century but this is still his highest Test score of all time. Full ball on middle, and Chase tries to sweep it fine. But he ends up directing the shot right onto leg stump. The ball brushes the outside of the pole, and Kusal draws Chase's attention by pointing at the bail on the floor 625/8154.5 keeper calls, keeper takes! Alzarri falls after an entertaining cameo. Goes short again, fourth-stump line. Unconfortably pulled from Alzarri, and it takes a top edge. The ball goes high up behind the batter and Kusal Mendis tells the three slip fielders to get out of his way. A fourth for Rathnayaka, who has toiled 599/7160.5 raps him on the pads and Milan Rathnayaka gets a five-wicket haul. He was celebrating even before the umpire raised his finger. This was full, aimed at the batter's pads, and Roach was slow to get bat on ball. A customary review from Roach.... he's still gone, dismissed by "umpire's call." - BATSMENRBM4s6sSR1.1 First-ball strike for Seales! Fullish ball, fifth-stump line. Ball holds its line and Nissanka leaves his bat hanging out without offering much footwork. Edged to Da Silva. Nissanka goes for another single-digit score in this Test 8/14.4 biig lbw shout and the umpire raises his finger! This was a hooping inswinger, that seemed to hit Madushka in line with off. There also seemed to be two noises. Madushka reviews after asking Rajitha. No bat on that says the replays, but is it hitting the stumps? Yes! Umpires call as it brushes leg stump. And Sri Lanka have had what they feared happen in the first over - they lose their opener. 15/25.1 gone! Full, in the channel outside off, Rajitha can't help but poke at it, and it flies off the outside edge to third slip, who holds the chance at about shoulder height. Rajitha didn't last more than one ball on day four. Seales has his 98th career wicket. He's ecstatic. 19/326.3 Chandimal is gone! Roach strikes with a devious away-seamer off a shorter length. This one got up to about waist high to Chandimal who punched it it. The movement away off the deck meant it took the edge of the bat however. Second slip Campbell holds it on second attempt, having parried it in the air briefly. 84/714.6 Shamar rattles the stumps of Mendis! Shamar brings this length ball sharply from round the stumps. Mendis camps back and leaves it, expecting the one that moves the other way. But he ends up offering a free path for the ball to connect with the top of off. Shamar wheels away in celebration. The drink will taste sweeter for WI 46/416.4 this looks dead plumb and yes the finger goes up! De Silva knows it's plumb and does not even bother to review. Much fuller and zips back in to catch de Silva on the crease and thump the pad below the knee-roll in line with off and middle. It would've crashed into middle. De Silva departs for a seven-ball duck. Chase is pleased as punch 48/521.5 Another SL batter has been out bowled, trying to leave the ball. Mendis looks puzzled. The off stump has been knocked back. After taking the previous ball away from Mendis in the channel, Alzarri ventures wide of the crease, brings this fuller one back into Mendis, who shoulders arms. The ball thuds into the top of off stump 71/626.6 Has Roach got his 299th Test wicket? The on-field umpire thinks so and raises the finger. Roach sends one thudding into Milan's front pad and he gets the out decision. Milan reviews though. His only hope is if it's going down leg (he was struck in front of middle and leg). But ball tracker suggests this ball will shave the leg stump and it's umpire's call, so Milan has to go. Sri Lanka are crashing hard 84/828.2 Test wicket no. 300 for Kemar Roach! Wide of the crease, full and rifled into middle from round the stumps. Asitha swings for the hills and misses. Roach rattles the stumps, looks skywards and soaks in the moment. Bowling coach Rampaul is up on his feet. Roach is only the fifth WI bowler to 300 Test wickets. Seales and the Josephs jump onto Roach. What a moment for him. Chase and Roach exchange hugs now. Everyone wants a piece of Roach 84/931.2 Seales knocks over Kumara and wraps up WI's innings win! The celebrations begin in the WI camp. Sharp full ball from around the stumps. Kumara backs away once again, but does not connect with the ball. Seales, however, connects with the stumps and seals the deal for the hosts.
