1.5 snicks off! Bates won't be reaching those landmarks today! Filer's extra pace forces the issue, Bates was on the back foot, looking to carve through a touch of width, but the extra bounce takes the shoulder of the bat, and Jones has only to reach to her right to gather 7/1
11.2 gives it the charge but gets nothing through the shot! TCC tossed that up above the eyeline, lured the big launch down the ground, but Bell at mid-off was primed and ready. A step or two back to set herself and a simple take for a maiden international wicket! 42/2
34.2 urgh, revolting way to get out! Grewcock's maiden England wicket is one that might require some mind-bleach! But look in the scorebook! A horrid waist-high full bunger, way outside off, Kerr wound into a big slap through the covers, and utterly clothed it! Bell grabs her second catch of the innings at mid-off. Filth gets wickets! 147/3
45.3 goes for the mow, excellent grab from Gibson! Green's fine knock is done, she aimed down-town and got good contact, through the full length. But Gibson reached high and clawed the chance down in her fingertips, five metres in from the rope at long-on. The debutants combine to give England a big boost 203/6
37.1 cramped on the pads, round the wicket and straightened on a leg-stump line. England are thinking about the review, and they've gone for it! Well now... it did look fairly adjacent. Probably pitched in line and certainly straightened... and there's no inside-edge. Sure enough, that's thumping leg stump! Brilliant captaincy from Dean, both to bring herself on for the match-up, and to gamble on the DRS 158/4
42.1 snicked to the keeper! Gaze goes, and Gibson joins the maiden ODI wicket-taker's list! Hard length, on a fourth-stump line. Gaze climbed into a cut but feathered an audible nick to Jones, standing up to the stumps. A useful breakthrough to dent NZ's push for the finish line 183/5
46.3 slow-motion stumping! That's more wonderful work from Jones. Bell took the pace off with her legcutter, Sharp swung across her pull and was in the process of dabbing her bat down into the crease when the keeper did for her with well-poised hands 205/7

47.3 splat! Round the wicket, full length, tempting the slog-sweep but beating the stroke on the angle. Kept the stumps in play, and splintered them! 207/9
46.4 another slower ball, pinned on the pads! Patel reviews, but she's not the tallest player in the game! This isn't going to be going over the top of the stumps... It pitched outside off, and she was playing off the back foot, deep in the crease. Umpire's call on impact! Bell is on a hat-trick 205/8

48.4 wiped out to the leg-side, Kemp swoops and flings in a fast return... Bell scampers back to the stumps, and intercepts well to break the wicket. Never a hope in hell of getting back for two... though that may have been a comment on Illing's batting merit! 210/10

12.2 skied down the throat of mid-off, another one goes! Patel gets amongst them now. NZ go bang-bang and England's chase suddenly looks much more taxing. Lamb charged out and tried to force something, having faced seven consecutive dot balls from Patel, but got completely under it and has to keep going for the dressing rooms 42/3
3.3 full and pinned in front! Grewcock's stay at the top of the order is a short one. Illing slips in a straight one and the debutant plays all around it to be hit just above the ankle. She thinks she's plumb and marches off despite a brief exchange with Lamb. Probably hitting leg, on first glance In fact, Hawk-Eye predicts it was missing leg stump! Would have been overturned on review! 10/1

11.5 nip-backer, hit on the front pad - and given! Knight was trying to push her knee roll as far outside the line as she could, but umpire Rose Dovey thinks that would have hit the timbers. Not much delay in calling for a review. It looked pretty good in real time, and Hawk-Eye backs her up! Umpire's call on impact, she couldn't quite get outside the line, and it's hitting the top of leg! Mair strikes and that is a big wicket for NZ 42/2
34.2 leading edge this time, gone! Looked like another one dropped short by Kerr, but instead of bashing cross-batted, Bouchier attempted to work it off the hip and somehow dollies a catch up to midwicket. She looks aghast... and that might be the game gone for England 160/7
25.6 ooh, is this a stuffing at the non-striker's end?! Bouchier could not have drilled that harder or straighter, which is precisely the problem! Full length, big stride, lumped back down the track, Mair dives across in her followthrough, her fingers clearly wobble as the ball flies by, and Kemp's bat is still in the air as the stumps are splattered! 110/4
27.3 sliced drive, straight to cover! A loose dismissal from Jones, she rather threw her hands at that, feet not to the pitch, and the bat coming across the ball rather than through it. Melie Kerr clings on, to leave England in something approaching serious bother 115/5
32.6 takes a wipe across the googly, and holes out! Gibson wasn't picking Kerr's variations, and she couldn't get herself across to the wide line outside off. A leading edge skews away to Illing at backward point, where a smart catch leaves England in some bother once more! 149/6

43.4 Mair hits the stumps! NZ are still alive and kicking. Bell's valiant block-or-bash effort comes to an end, playing the wrong line to be yorked. Rattles into the base of off stump. Is there another twist to come? 195/8
45.4 straight through! Kerr roars in celebration, and NZ are one wicket away from snatching this! Full, straight and middle stump is pegged back. Bit of a loose wipe across the line from Filer, when defence was the order of the day 201/9
