Stanley Cup odds: Carolina Hurricanes odds-on favorites over Vegas Golden Knights to win Final

Jack Eichel: 'The Stanley Cup is our ultimate goal' (2:02)

The Stanley Cup playoffs are truly unpredictable. The Colorado Avalanche had been the championship favorites for nearly the entire regular season and postseason and had been +130 to hoist the Cup coming into the Western Conference final, but they were swept in their series with the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Golden Knights have correspondingly rocketed up the Stanley Cup winner board, going from +600 before the series to +120.

The Carolina Hurricanes are the odds-on title favorites at -110, improving their odds from +195 after winning games 2 and 3 of the Eastern Conference final, both in overtime; the Montreal Canadiens dropped from +370 to +950 with the consecutive losses. Carolina is back out to a comfortable odds lead to win the Eastern Conference at -500, with Montreal at +370.
