HOUSTON -- The Texans and linebacker Henry To'oTo'o agreed Thursday to a two-year $16 million extension, sources told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport.
To'oTo'o, 25, can earn another $1 million in incentives on the deal, which was negotiated by Ryan Williams on Athletes First.
To'oTo'o is now under contract with Houston through the 2028 season.
He had 95 tackles and 2.5 sacks last season, his third in the NFL since he was selected in the fifth round of the 2023 draft. He had 105 tackles in 2024, the first season he became a full-time starter.
To'oTo'o is the second player from the Texans' 2023 draft class to secure a contract extension following defensive end Will Anderson Jr., who received a historic three-year, $150 million extension that made him the highest-paid non-quarterback ever.
He is the fourth Texans defender to receive a pay day this offseason as All-Pro defensive end Danielle Hunter received a one-year, $40 million contract extension and Pro Bowl linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair signed a three-year, $54 million extension.
