News: 2 days agoLiberty head coach Chris DeMarco said Monday that Ionescu (back) is making good progress, Madeline Kenney of the New York Post reports.

Spin: "She is progressing well," DeMarco said. "We kept her home so she can continue to play 5-on-5 with the practice guys, which is standard practice for us before we can fully clear a player for game action." Ionescu has missed the past five games and will remain out Monday in Connecticut. Given she isn't currently traveling with the team, it'd be surprising to see Ionescu available for Thursday's matchup in Atlanta, but she can be considered questionable until New York releases its initial injury report for that game.
