Scott Pendlebury has played his final game for Collingwood and is set to join Gold Coast as a free agent in the offseason, according to multiple reports.
The 38-year-old leaves the Magpies as the games record holder after 442 matches across 21 seasons. Drafted with Pick 5 in the 2005 draft, Pendlebury captained Collingwood and played in four Grand Finals, winning premierships in 2010 and 2023 while also featuring in the 2011 and 2018 defeats.
Pendlebury finishes his remarkable tenure in black and white with five Copeland Trophies, six All-Australian selections, a Norm Smith Medal and a fourth Anzac Day Medal in 2026.
He turns 39 next year and will now continue his career with the Suns.
