TCU wide receiver Jordan Dwyer will not play against North Carolina in Ireland on Saturday due to a foot injury, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Dwyer is the Horned Frogs' leading returning receiver after catching 54 passes for 730 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
He originally suffered the injury ahead of last year's Alamo Bowl and didn't play in TCU's overtime win over USC.
Dwyer is projected as Harvard transfer quarterback Jaden Craig's top target this season. Dwyer was the Big 12's No. 10 receiver last year and averaged 13.5 yards per catch.
The Tar Heels will be in search of revenge after TCU spoiled coach Bill Belichick's first game in Chapel Hill with a 48-14 rout in the teams' Week 1 meeting last year.
